I found myself in a dark place. I could feel the chill and dense air. Even though I couldn't see, for some reason, I was walking forward. Continuously, walking. Then, I heard a voice calling my name. Who? Who's calling me? I followed the voice as it grew louder but when I was near, I couldn't hear it anymore. I shouted for sometime for that voice to respond, but to no avail. I thought maybe I should continue to walk since I'm sure to meet that voice again. So I continued to walk. Just as I took a step, a bright blinding light came out of nowhere. It came to a white, where I couldn't see anything. My eyes finally got used to the light. And what I saw was the streets of the town. I walked around thinking about what just happened but I couldn't make anything out of it. Suddenly, there was a car in high speed heading my way. Before I could even react, the car had already crashed into me. I opened my eyes to see my view was on the ground. I must've fell to the floor. I tried to get up. My arm, and legs were bruised. And blood was running down from my head. I felt dizzy and also, my vision was blurry. I walked a few steps and all I could see then, was darkness. I could feel the cold hard cemented floor. It must mean that I fell again. Just then, I heard a voice. It's that voice again. He's calling me not to sleep. But I'm too tired and my eye lids felt too heavy for me to open my eyes. All I could hear was that man's voice. Calling out to me and his warm hands holding onto me. I tried my best opening my eyes. I saw a figure with bright lights. How beautiful, I said.
Once again, I was in the darkness. I heard people talking by me. I hear voices saying my name. I hear the same voice of that man's demanding me to wake up. I could feel the warmth of someone's hand clasping mine. But each and everytime, it was short. And each time, the voice would always say the same thing. And that pair of hands, would always be clasping mine. I wonder, who it could be. I tried to open my eyes. And everytime, I tried, I'd always see the same figure as when I saw. The one that I saw on my accident. Yes, that's right. That beautiful silhouette...
"Wait!" I shouted. I sat up, only to see that I was on the hospital bed. I must be dreaming. But what was all that? Was that really just a dream? Or was that... Oh... Wait... Did those things...? Ohhhh... I get it. Those must have happened when I was in a comatose. So, who was that man? He saved me...
"MIYA!" someone shouted by my ears. Only then did I realize that someone was beside me. I looked at the person. "Are you alright? Do you need me to get the doctor over?" he said. This voice... Now I remember! It's Javier. "You... You were the one... Weren't you?" I asked. "Miya... What are you saying? I was???" Javier was confused. "Javier. Thank you. I remembered everything." I told him. "You... you do? Are you feeling unwell?" Javier looked surprised. "Yeah... Thank you. I really do. You. You saved me and... you visited..." I looked at him. He didn't reply and just looked at me as though he felt he was responsible. "Not that look. I'm finally gonna get discharged and thanks to you! I'm well now. Hahah..." I smiled. He just nodded his head and looked down, not saying a word. "Don't feel responsible for it. It was partly my fault too. I wasn't looking and I was thinking about something else. The driver could be in a rush and he couldn't avoid me either. Well, now that I'm all better now. Let that be the past, alright?" I took his hands and said. Hmmm?! This familiar feeling. His hands! OH! Oh my! I looked at Javier's face. His face was slightly flushed, he quickly turned his face and pulled his hands out of mine. He stood up and turn towards the door. "See ya." He threw those words behind and walked off. I couldn't respond immediately. H-h-he... I didn't know what I was feeling. Was it joy or was gratitude or something else? I couldn't think of it. I only knew I should chase after him. I quickly got off bed and ran out.
